According to curis's latest presentation and pdf they have been able to create a drug compound that will target two different pathways at the same time. Curis says that this will lower toxicity and target at vital pathways in cancer at the same time. They have already displayed that one of their compounds targets EGFR and another pathway they call "B". This dual inhibiton of their molecule(s) could prove to be a synergistic effect on cancer cells.
